Emphasising the importance of aesthetic design of the lower facial region, Dr Bozbay mentions various surgical and non-surgical methods to achieve the correct proportion and symmetry. This aims to achieve an aesthetic appearance suitable for the patient's facial structure.

Dr Ron Singh Christopher, from the English department of a Nigerian university, presents a language ethnographic study on greeting and interaction. The presentation addresses key concepts such as the importance of greetings in interaction, power dynamics, gender roles and social solidarity.

Mindfulness is generally translated as "awareness" in Turkish and is defined as the practice of becoming consciously aware of mental processes. It is the ability to watch thoughts without judgement and without being carried away by them. Mindfulness is based on living in the moment without trying to solve problems.

The "Meeting on the Path of Nursing" event, organised within the framework of the Scientific Activities of the Faculty of Nursing, was presented by Research Assistant Kemal Elyeli. The aim of the event is to bring students together with professionals who play a leading role in the field of nursing and are role models.

One of the guests of the event, a psychiatric nurse, shared her professional experiences and gave information about the difficulties and successes encountered in the field of nursing. She also advised students and young colleagues to discover their potential and to do their profession with love.

The conference emphasised that nursing is not only based on scientific knowledge and skills, but also an art. It was emphasised that nurses should have a wide range of knowledge from anatomy to sociology, but also the importance of approaching the patient with a sense of aesthetics and art.
